About Me

Are you struggling, feeling anxious, confused, or stuck? It can be hard to be a human and we are not meant to do it alone.

Our brains and nervous systems have evolved to heal through supportive, caring relationships with others who see, hear and validate us as we are. I work with both children and adults from this essential understanding, believing that inside we are all good and doing our best with what we have at hand.

But when life gets hard and confusing, we may need tools to help us settle into ourselves and sort through the jumble of thoughts, feelings, and stresses that cloud our true selves. Through mindful awareness, we can learn to listen to ourselves and attune to our inner voice, our true essence that knows what we need.

I specialize in working with people who are experiencing anxiety, going through grief of all kinds, carrying parenting stress, feeling burnout from caretaking or work responsibilities, or who are walking the path of cancer.

I bring breathwork, meditation, talk therapy, play therapy, art, yogic practices, and various modalities such as parts work and cognitive behavioral therapy into sessions, depending on what is needed in the moment.

I am not here to fix you, because I believe you are already whole and good, but I am here to walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion while we untangle the knots and relax into that wholeness. I believe that while the waves of life will never cease, we can all learn to surf.

We are in this together.

I am a licensed professional counselor and school counselor with an undergraduate degree from Stanford University, a Masters in Fine Art from California College of the Arts and a Masters in Counseling from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I am also a certified yoga teacher (200 hour) and a yoga therapist in-training, with an initial 300 hour certification. Outside of counseling and yoga, I love hiking with my dogs, camping and skiing with my husband and teenage son, making quilts, biking, baking and reading. I am a pragmatic yet spiritual person, and I love working with others who value spiritual life.
